AICodeKing: in-depth Argon benchmark analysis

Report on Google's own test of Argon agents migrating C and C++ to memory-safe Rust, including over 800,000 lines of the Fuchsia Zircon kernel and a 32,000-line SIMD rewrite of the libgav1 video decoder that runs 2.7x faster than an earlier Rust port. The closest thing to a…

Google's CEO previews Argon, highlighting cyber defense, software engineering and extensive internal use at Google ahead of broader availability.

Thread breaking down Google's reported Argon use cases, such as shrinking a quantum program to need about 40% fewer qubits and operations, plus other internal engineering wins.

Weighs Argon's claimed capabilities against real-world work scenarios and points out practical limits, chiefly restricted access.
