Gemini 4 Argon Analysis: Massive Power, Major Limitations

Google's CEO previews Argon, highlighting cyber defense, software engineering and extensive internal use at Google ahead of broader availability.

Thread breaking down Google's reported Argon use cases, such as shrinking a quantum program to need about 40% fewer qubits and operations, plus other internal engineering wins.

Andon Labs reports Argon ranks first on Blueprint-Bench 2, where agents reconstruct apartment floorplans from interior photos, suggesting stronger 3D spatial understanding than rival models.

Walks through Argon's reported scores across coding, business workflows, spreadsheets and long context to judge whether Google is back at the frontier.
